Hi! my name is Hongxuan Li. I am a 4th year undergraduate majoring in geography at Beijing Normal University, also a graduate student of Nanjing University who will enroll in 2024.

I am highly interested in the Evolution of Earth’s Surface and geomorphology. The powerful and intricate atmospheric and deep-Earth processes have created the stunning landscape that we see today. However, the forces are so complex that they can only be deeply understood through careful study of the evidence that it has left behind. In my upcoming research, I aspire to unveil the hidden secrets concealed within the Earth's historical records, unravel the mysteries of how earth’s surface has changed over time, and foster a deep appreciation for the awe-inspiring beauty and formidable power of nature.

Currently, I am studying the river evolution and fluvial geomorphology with my supervisor, Dr. Qi Su. Specifically, we are working on the evolution of the upper Yellow River and the diachronism of the broad geomorphic surface’s formation.
